I created The Frequency Planner because I needed a planning tool that understood something most planners ignore: the state you are in when you plan determines the quality of what you plan.
Most planners are built around output. Tasks, goals, deadlines, metrics. They assume that if you write it down and schedule it, it will happen. And sometimes it does. But for a lot of women, the problem is not that they do not have a plan. The problem is that they are planning from anxiety, from scarcity, from a nervous system that is running a survival program. And the plan reflects that.
The Frequency Planner is different. It is a planning tool built around frequency, which is the internal state you are operating from. Before you plan your week, you calibrate. You check in with where you actually are, not where you think you should be. And then you plan from that place.
What Frequency Means
Frequency, in the way I use it, refers to your energetic and physiological state. It is the difference between planning from fear and planning from clarity. Between making a decision from scarcity and making it from abundance. Between operating from survival and operating from power.
Most of us have been taught to push through the state we are in. To perform productivity regardless of how we feel. The Frequency Planner asks you to do something different: to acknowledge the state you are in, shift it intentionally, and then move into your planning from that new place.
This is not woo. It is physiology. The prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for strategic thinking, goal-setting, and decision-making, is significantly less accessible when the nervous system is in a stress response. Planning from that state produces plans that reflect the stress, not the vision.
How to Use the Frequency Planner
The Frequency Planner is structured around a weekly rhythm. At the start of each week, you do a brief calibration practice before you open the planner. This takes between five and ten minutes. It is designed to move you from whatever state you are in into a state of regulated clarity.
Then you plan. The planner has specific prompts that guide you through your week in a way that is aligned with your actual capacity, not an idealised version of it. You identify your highest-leverage actions, your non-negotiables, and the things you are choosing to release for the week.
The result is a plan that is honest. Not a list of 47 things you will never get to. A clear, grounded map of the week that you can actually execute.
Where to Find It
The Frequency Planner is available at frequencyplanner.com. It is part of the broader ecosystem of tools I have built for women who want to operate from a different internal state.
If you want to go deeper into the nervous system work that underlies the planner, the Soft60 app is the 60-day protocol built for exactly that. You can find it at soft60.app.
And if you are ready for the most intimate container I offer, the Soft Power Mastermind is where I work directly with a small group of women to do this work live. Details at shaniakhan.com/mastermind.
